Summary: Just some thoughts I was having...

So I have this thing where I split the cast down the middle and pit them against each other ^_^ this is one of those kinda of things.

Heero is a soldier for his country and while out on a mission, something goes horribly awry. Duo is a soldier for his country, and he is separated and cut off from his unit while on a patrol. When they end up running into each other Duo saves Heero's life, finds somewhere safe where they can lay low, Duo tends Heero's wounds and stays with him while he recovers.

Ouch.

Yeah, Heero's not to happy about this situation. And he's probably right to be concerned, if not fatalistic.

Of course, he is supposing that his side will find them first...

Every time I think of this story I am sharply reminded of Enemy Mine. Only this isn't so much as based off of Enemy Mine because I have never watched that movie; I only saw about 30 seconds of it.

See I haven't gotten around to writing this for a few reason... During the time I wrote this I thought of about three MORE ways this story can go. I never nailed down a plot, it's like a hydra with thirty heads, very scary and unmanageable. I mean I could spend the energy to slay this thing, but I've got about six other more pressing fics.

Actually, I remixed this story for Digimon, sort of. It was going to be for my Roads_Diverged Daisuke/Ken/Kaizer claim. I quit posting to the challenge cuz I couldn't keep up, but I do want to pick it up again... sometime...

Hmm. I suck at titles. The working title of this is Cruel Intentions but it will not be the actual title if I get around to posting it. So, it's named after, of course, the movie Cruel Intention but it really has almost nothing to do with that.

I got this dialogue stuck in my head, it went like this:
"What did he do when you told him?"
"Not sure really, sort of reminded me of the couple of times I've seen him near his father."
"Barely controlled fury, then."
"Really?"
"Oh yes, but keep going."

This still makes me smile. Its bare bones but the context behind it... Never mind. The whole thing sort of spawned from there. I've got a town of over privileged elite, spoiled brats and a grudge of some kind. Oh that so brought Cruel Intentions to mind, but I didn't really like that movie. So I had to come up with something else.

Anyway, the basic thread: This town is of the rich and famous. The two Wealthiest families are Relena's and Heero's and they have their Parents eating out of their hands (or something sort of like that) They were dating for a while and then it all went south and now they hate each other and they dragged the whole town into it. Everyone in the town has taking a side and although it's not a war there's a lot of dirty pool going around. Enter Duo, whose family just moved into town and suddenly he's the hottest new commodity on the market. And whose side is he going to take? No one knows, least of all him.
But won't it be fun to sway his opinion. Double deals, Bribery, back stabbing, blackmail, lust... it just goes on and on. Very much fun to write... a lot of research and back story editing needed on this one... which is why I haven't gotten very far with this. Oh well.

Ya know... I never really liked Relena, I've just learned to deal with her. She won't be a very nice person in this, and neither will Heero, and Duo won't be the unguilty in this either. Being bad is oh so good.

I was working on Strange and then I decided to do this instead,*shrug.*

Anyway, I got this idea(ages ago) where Duo would be a genetics experiment. The basic idea was a General under the old Alliance had a group of scientist working on this project without the higher ups in the government knowing about it. The project was a genetically engineered human with some inhuman abilities, the precise nature of I never really nailed down. Basically they were making a human weapon which of course the general had intended to use for him self (I was really big on plots within the Alliance to over throw the government.) But the two head scientists of the project went AWOL and took the project (read as: Baby Duo) not for the power but to protect the child. Anyway, there was a war going so something happen and the child ends up an orphan, proceed with Duo’s normal history. Duo has no knowledge of his origins, but someone else, *cough*Treize*cough,* ends up finding out about the project and then finding out that the project is… You know, this is kinda long an involved which is why I never actually started writing it in the first place.

I wanted the name to be some thing funky and not English so back around when LOTR first started to come out I found this Elvish Generator (which I can no longer locate now that my old computer is toast) and cooked up the title. This is called Balëalqua.megil, but I’m calling it The Destroyer because it’s more accessible, and pronounceable to boot. Besides, that’s what I plugged into the Generator to get that name which I’m 99.9% sure is not the true translation of The Destroyer into Tolkien’s elvish. *shrug* Enjoy.

Anyway, this would be fairly close to the beginning of this story. The Scientists who took the child (By the way, they name him Adam, but he really doesn’t remember that) had to take some precautions. They really couldn’t have a child that could bend the fabric of reality at will. At this point in the story they are putting Limits in him to suppress his powers and turning him into a normal human, or what would pass for one; Oh how I love science fiction! Obviously this would hurt like hell, and it’s a process so at this point it’s not completely in place, so when I said he’s shaking the walls, I so literally mean it.

^_^ I do still hope to write this some day… maybe… probably never though

Oh, I'm ready. ^_^ I'm kinda excited, I think. Anyway, like I said I would, here are the first of the drabbles. I already have a couple sketched out but this is the only one I polished up so far ^_^

Notes: Hmmm I got this idea at the end of August. I was creeping around Fanfiction.net and I rolled up on a story by Death Merchant called Bird on a Hot Tin Roof It's Slade/Robin Teen Titan slash... so tread carefully A series of drabbles telling a story (though I'm not sure if they are connected, but they all seem to be in the same vein) I thought it was immensely cool. But Also, MadamHyrda and her Conflicts of Interest story, which I've actually been following on her livejournal madamhydra But she's been posting little snippets of this story, and I saw that she has actually added them into the story as chapters on FF.n and between these two things, things just sort of clicked for me. I thought, Hey! Drabbles! I could write Drabbles for all these stories that I just can't seem to get started. And here we are, about three weeks later, I work slowly!

So These are actual one hundred words in length, two hundred if you count the remixes, and unlike the two stories mentioned above, they are almost completely unconnected, aside from being fanfics of Gundam Wing... and most of them have Duo Maxwell in some capacity (what can I say, he's my favorite) There is to be another series of these for Digimon. But I haven't even started working on those yet.

Strictly speaking, most of these stories are completely stalled out, aside from the ones of fanfics I'm actively writing like Dangerous Bonds, and Strange, ect. Now, having said that, none of these stories are truly dead. In a perfect world, I would write every last one of them, but realistically, that just won't happen. So this, in a way, is a not so very sneaky attempt at W.I.P. Amnesty. But if you like them, let me know all I might work myself into taking a crack and actually writing them, or at very least, more drabbles from the story.
Also, this could conceivably never end. As I'm thinking of using this as a sound board/spring board of Fanfics I get idea for... You know, who knows how long it will take before I lose interest *cough* I mean, like that would ever happen.

LOL the notes alone were longer than about three of the actual chapter.

Alright, before I head into the first chapter, more notes!
This is a Drabble from Dangerous Bonds. It kinda of makes me laugh because essentially, this is a fanfic of my own fanfic. It really explains something that happened back in chapter 2 of the story. This is something that Duo didn't know happened and probably will never found out. But just because Duo doesn’t know, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. I guess this is kind of like the DVD commentaries that were going around the Stargate: Atlantis fandom a couple of weeks ago, only this would be more like a DVD extra deleted scene
